When word 'successful' came back to haunt Michael Clarke!

New Delhi: Australian Test skipper Michael Clarke found himself in yet another embarrassing situation at a press conference ahead of the third Ashes Test after he once again goofed up between sex and success.

Speaking about Australia's victory at Lord's Clarke said, "It's about playing your best cricket. We walk out to bat on zero and we walk out to bowl with no wickets. So we need to execute our skills like we did at Lord's if we want to have sex," Pup said, before quickly correcting it to "success" in the second attempt. The reporters, who witnessed something similar during ICC World Cup 2015, once again couldn't stop laughing.

"It's not the first time that's coming out the wrong way," a smiling Clarke said.

Later on, Clarke also mentioned about the incident on Twitter.

During the World Cup, a reporter put Clarke in a similar position when he asked him about the 'tremendous sex' he had as a captain. The media room burst into laughter before the embarrassed reporter quickly corrected himself, telling him he had meant to say "the tremendous success".

In response, an embarrassed Clarke asked the reporter "How well do you know me?" as Steve Smith, his deputy, laughed along with the other reporters.
