Hubli: India A all-rounder Abhishek Nayar today expressed hope that they will be able to score a series-levelling win against the West Indies A tomorrow even as the wicket was not helpful for the bowlers.
The hosts needed seven wickets for win on the final day tomorrow as West Indies trail by 180 runs in the third unofficial `Test` at KSCA stadium.
"The pitch has slowed down, but we have to be positive. Breaking this partnership between Assad Fudadin and Narsingh Deonaraine early on is crucial. Once you get one or two wickets, we can get into the tail," he told reporters at the end of third day`s play.
Nayar said there wont be much help for the spinners on the fourth day but he expected India A to bowl in good areas and exploit the dew factor in the morning.
Talking about Cheteshwar Pujara`s fantastic triple ton, Nayar said the skipper accelerated exceptionally well to get to his third triple century in first class cricket.
"In dressing room we know Pujara can get big hundreds, double hundreds and triple hundreds," he added.
