Three more names of Pakistani cricketers have emerged in connection with the alleged spot-fixing episode during the fourth Test against England at Lord’s last summer, according to reports.

London: On the second day of the trial, three more names of Pakistani cricketers have emerged in connection with the alleged spot-fixing episode during the fourth Test against England at Lord’s last summer, according to reports. Umar Akmal, his brother Kamran and Wahab Riaz were the three cricketers named on the second day of the trial involving Pakistan`s former captain, Salman Butt, and Mohammad Asif in a London Crown Court on Thursday. It has been alleged that Akmal, Kamran and Riaz would carry out instructions from the agent Mazhar Majeed. Butt and Asif however, denied conspiracy to cheat and to accept corrupt payments between Aug 15-29 last year.
