Edgbaston: Tino Best was yet to bowl in his comeback match but the 30-year old Barbados player has already put his name in the record books scoring 95 runs in 112 balls to become the highest individual scorer at No.11 surpassing Zaheer Khan’s 75 against Bangladesh in 2004 at Dhaka.

Tino Best in partnership with wicket keeper batsmen Dinesh Ramdin, who also scored a vital 107 runs stitched together a partnership of 143 runs which incidentally is the third highest last wicket partnership in the game’s history.

In an unbeaten century partnership between Dinesh Ramdin and Tino Best frustrated English bowlers to the core as they struggled to pick up wickets on the fourth day of the Edgbaston Test.

England certainly missed their in-form bowler James Anderson who has been rested for the Test match.

The West Indies innings wrapped up at 426 all out with Ramdin at 107 and Best at 95.
