Trott, who was included in the 12-man county squad, had left England`s Ashes tour of Australia in November with a ` stress -related illness`, following which Warwickshire also granted him time for a family holiday while the team went on a pre-season tour of Barbados. According to the BBC, earlier this month, Trott had insisted that he was `burnt out, but not depressed` when he left the Ashes tour following England`s defeat in the opening Test in Brisbane, although he now insisted that he is feeling `refreshed` ahead of the match and his side`s upcoming County Championship opener against Sussex. The report mentioned that Trott has set his sights on reclaiming his place in the national team this summer following his absence and sessions with a psychologist
