Twenty20 World Cup trophy unveiled

Mumbai: Title sponsors on Saturday unveiled the trophy of the Twenty20 World Cup 2012, which commences from September 18 in Sri Lanka.

The silver and rhodium trophy, weighing 7.5 kilograms and 51 centimeter tall, would be handed to the winners on October 7 at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

India had won the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2007 in South Africa.

The trophy will now travel to Delhi and be showcased at a mall in Gurgaon.
