New Delhi: In an effort to turn philanthropist, Indian batsman Virat Kohli is set to turn gym instructer for the winner of a charity auction event slated between May 6-16.
Kohli, who is currently busy leading Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL-7, will take time out to help raise funds for Save The Children India organisation which supports the education of less priveleged and differently-abled children in an initiave by online marketing company `ebay`.
Kohli, 25, will work out with the highest bidder and provide valuable inputs on the fitness routine which needs to be followed to stay fit.
The proceeds from this charity auction will be used to educate the under previleged and differently-abled children and make their future better.
Commenting on this auction, Kohli says, "Education plays a vital role in every child`s development but unfortunately many children in our country do not have access to it. Moreover, a vast number of children in our nation are deprived of basic health care facilities."
"I encourage all my fans to participate in this auction and help raise funds to support the cause of education and health care for the lesser privileged children. I promise a very special day for the winner of this auction," he said.
