Wankhede to host practice game on November 27

Mumbai: The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) will organise a practice match at the Wankhede stadium, venue of the ongoing World Cup final, on February 27 to test the pitch and outfield conditions.

"The final of the local T20 tournament, a day-night affair, will be organised at the Wankhede on Sunday," MCA joint secretary Lalchand Rajput said after the association`s Managing Committee here on Friday.

The association will also meet the city police officials on Monday to seek their opinion on whether to sell the about 3,000 remaining tickets, for the three World Cup matches to be held at the Wankhede, online or by setting up booths, he said.
