Warner says Oz bowling attack has ‘special plan’ for Proteas captain SmithSydney: Australian opener David Warner has said they have devised special plans to get the wicket of South Africa captain Graeme Smith, and added their fast bowlers would keep the pressure on the rival skipper.

“Every time a captain comes out here we do our best to try and put pressure on them,” News.com.au quoted Warner, as saying.

“When the heat`s on them it could put a dampener on the squad as well so hopefully we can keep targeting Smith and hopefully Patto (James Pattinson) and Sids (Peter Siddle) can keep firing into to him. We`ve got a tactic and a plan to bowl to him,” he added.

Despite his modest stays at the crease, scoring 10 and 23, Smith managed to exasperate the Australians by regularly pulling away as the bowler was running in because of movement around the sightscreen.

“I wish he would stop. There are always little things. We saw it last year with India behind the sight screen,” Warner said.

“I don`t think you saw any of our players stop once because of guys walking behind the sight screen. I don`t know how you can be that distracted or what they`re looking at or what they`re seeing,” he added.
