New Delhi: After his heroics in the Indian Premier League, South Africa's AB de Villiers is dishing out more of the same in the Caribbean Premier League.

Representing the Barbados Tridents, the right-hander has played some critical knocks in the tournament so far.

While AB's genius with the bat is known to all, an incident against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots offered an insight into the mental make-up of the maverick.

The 32-year-old was struck on the helmet by a vicious bouncer from Alzarri Joseph, who was part of the U-19 World Cup winning West Indian side.

AB showed no signs of weakness after the blow and instead flashed a thumbs up sign to indicate that he was okay.

Having regained his composure in a matter of minutes, this is what he did on the very next ball...
