New Delhi: Pakistan opener Sharjeel Khan on Thursday made a shocking revelation about being blackmailed by certain individuals who were demanding money from him.
The left-hander claimed to have received calls from unknown individuals who threatened him by posting his fake videos on social media networks.
The batsman took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to share this news with his fans and followers.

“I have been receiving threats through phone calls from unknown numbers. Some people are trying to hack my Twitter and Facebook accounts too. They are threatening me that they will post videos that are apparently featuring me. If anything like that comes up please do not believe it as all those videos will be fake and this is just an attempt to ridicule me,” he said.
According to a report on Dawn, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Hyderabad police are helping the 26-year-old in the matter.
Sharjeel recently represented Pakistan in the Asia Cup and WT20.
He was also one of the star performers in the first edition of the Pakistan Super League.
