Asin breathes fire over less footage in ‘London Dreams’

She might have been touted as a superstar in the making after her phenomenal ‘Ghajini’ success, but the makers of ‘London Dreams’ don’t seem to share the same belief, as they have nearly left Asin out of the film’s promos. And the southern sensation is not pleased to say the least. Breathing fire over being snubbed in the film’s trailor that has her in only one shot, Asin went sulking to filmmaker Vipul Shah.

Mumbai: She might have been touted as a superstar in the making after her phenomenal ‘Ghajini’ success, but the makers of ‘London Dreams’ don’t seem to share the same belief, as they have nearly left Asin out of the film’s promos. And the southern sensation is not pleased to say the least. Breathing fire over being snubbed in the film’s trailor that has her in only one shot, Asin went sulking to filmmaker Vipul Shah. Confirming the news, a daily quoted a source as saying, “When Asin learnt that she was hardly a part of the first theatrical promo of the film, she spoke to Vipul. Asin is very eager to see the response of the audience, especially since this will be her first release after Ghajini which was the biggest hit of last year. However, she was very disappointed with the promos. Vipul explained to her that since it is the story of two friends, he needed to have more of Salman and Ajay in the first promo. However, Asin was far from convinced and is sulking.” Nevertheless Vipul Shah is trying his best to please the sassy actress. The filmmaker claims to have given the beauty much more footage in upcoming promos. Talking to a news daily, Vipul said, “All I want to say is that this is just the first teaser of the film. Please don’t be in a hurry to judge anybody’s importance and let me say clearly that Asin is a very important part of my film. Let some other promos release and everything will be fine. I am aware that this is Asin’s first release after Ghajini and the expectations are huge. Let me assure everybody, especially fans of Asin, that they won’t be disappointed.” Sharing the screen with two Bollywood bigwigs, we wonder, what hopes Asin had about the film’s publicity?
