We hope to carry forward winning momentum: JadejaRanchi: All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who played a crucial role in India`s series-levelling win in Kochi in the previous game, on Friday said that the hosts are keen to carry forward the momentum and take a 2-1 lead when they face England in the third ODI here on Saturday.

"We are very happy with the way we won our last match. We just hope to carry forward the winning momentum and looking forward to win the game. We hope to do right things. We are very positive about tomorrow`s game," Jadeja said.

Jadeja, who won the man-of-the-match award in Kochi for his all-round show (37-ball 61 not out and 2/12), said he would look to put up a similar performance on Saturday as well.

"I did well in all three departments (of the game) in the last game. I will have the same thinking and will look to win it for India," said Jadeja.

"I did not have much problem in bowling. I`ve been bowling good always and don`t want to experiment much. I don`t want to change much as far as my bowling is concerned," he added.

The Saurashtra allrounder feels he has become a better batsman after his two triple centuries in this Ranji season.

"I had a good Ranji season. I had two triple hundreds. It`s been the most positive aspect of my batting. I played long innings twice. I was getting out to wrong shot selection. Hope not to repeat those mistakes again."

Refusing to read too much into the slump in form of Virat Kohli, Jadeja said it was a part and parcel of every cricketer`s life.

"I don`t think it`s a worry. Virat is doing well for quite a long time. It happens in every cricketers` life when you go through ups and downs. No doubt, if he does well the confidence of the team goes high. Hope he does well for India tomorrow," said Jadeja.

Asked if his captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was battling some nervous moments before playing his first match on his home ground here, Jadeja said, "He`s still the same. Obviously, he`s excited to play his first match at home."

Applauding the facilities at the newly-built JSCA International Stadium Complex, Jadeja hoped India start on a winning note at the new venue.

"The stadium, the ground, the facilities in the dressing room, everything looks quite fabulous. This is our first match here, and we all are keen for a win," concluded Jadeja.
