New Delhi: Regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers, Curtly Ambrose said that West Indies still have enough talent to dominate cricket world. Having endured a free-fall in the last two decades, the Caribbean cricket team is now compared to minnows of the game.

However, the former fast bowler who is currently employed as the bowling coach of the team, believes that if a “ right structure put in place ... from the grassroots level, right through, first class cricket,” then the glory days will return.

"Once we've got the right systems in place I believe we can be a force again in world cricket,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Australia. Elaborating his role as a coach, he said “My immediate intention right now is to try and get the guys moving up the ICC rankings. If we get to at least number four in world cricket, then we can start thinking about number one.”

The 51-year from Antigua recently released an autobiography called "Time to Talk". In a celebrated cricket career, Ambrose took 405 wickets in 98 Test matches, and was one of the main protagonists in West Indies 20-year reign as cricket's No.1 team.
