New Delhi: Indian cricket team continued their winning run under the captaincy of Virat Kohli as they thrashed West Indies by an innings and 92 runs in the 1st Test played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound in Antigua.

It was a clinical show by Kohli and his men, where they overshadowed the hosts in all departments of the game.

Here are some of the records broken by Indian cricketers in the Test which lasted for four days.

With his stupendous 200-run knock, Kohli became the first Indian skipper to slam a double ton in an away Test.

The margin of victory – an innings and 92 runs – was the highest by the Indian team outside the subcontinent.

Mohammed Shami equalled the record for the fastest 50 wickets by an Indian bowler in Tests.

Ravichandran Ashwin picked his first five-wicket haul in Tests outside Asia. Also, with 183 wickets in his career so far, Ashwin created another record by becoming the only spinner with so many wickets after 33 Tests.

Wriddhiman Saha effected the most dismissals by any wicketkeeper in an innings in Tests in West Indies.
