Cheryle Cole`s nervous of performing solo

London: Pop star Cheryl Cole is holding her nerves as she gets ready to perform in her first solo performance without the rest of `Girls Aloud`. Cole is excited but at the same time nervous about the prospect of singing in front of the team and a live studio audience even though that`s exactly how she won her place in `Girls Aloud`, Mirror reported.

"It is a no-brainer for Cheryl to launch her solo career on the show. When she told Simon her album was due out next month, he said she must do the show. She is nervous because she will be performing for her peers and there is always the fear that Simon may say something catty," a source close to the singer said. "Girls Aloud performed last year when their single `Promise` was in the charts. But this will be a totally different experience for Cheryl, she won`t have the others for support," the source added.
