Mumbai: With a superstar for a brother, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan have been made soft targets by the media, accusing the two Khans of taking advantage of Salman Khan’s star status. And though the two brothers have often snubbed such reports, it now seems that they have come out to accept the obvious, as they stated loud and clear that they one way or the other, they do take advantage of their closeness to Sallu.Even as Arbaaz Khan is all set to make his production debut this October, buzz has it that it’s Salman who is pumping in major moolah for Sohail and Arbaaz to run their businesses. And though the actor might not be making direct monetary contributions, he ends up aiding his brothers by acting in their mediocre films.
Defending his relationship with Salman Khan, Sohail told a news daily, "You can ask Salman-bhai this. I always ask him how much he got paid for his last him film and I make it a point to pay him a few notches higher. I, of course, take advantage of my access to him because I am part of the same family. But let me tell you that there were several occasions when he (Salman) said 'no' on my face," says Sohail.
What’s more is that with Arbaaz coming out with his own banner, Sallu will be seen aiding his other brother too as he plays the lead in Arbaaz’z first film.
Talking about Salman, Arbaaz said, "There are only three or four bankable stars in the country right now and Salman is among them. So, I really don't have a choice. Yes, he seems to be running our production houses but that is a fact. When I decided to do the film with him, I also felt that I am giving him one of the best scripts of his career. So, I am giving him back something, isn't it?"
