Bhubaneswar: Wishing "all success" to a local dance group which has reached the finals of a television reality show, Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday said he has already sent his SMS in favour of Prince Dance Group before the grand final on Saturday.Describing the performance of the boys as "superb", Patnaik said he had already conveyed best wishes to Krishna, the leader of the Berhampur-based group.
The 24-member group, comprising mostly daily labourers and a polio afflicted youth, had reached the final of the `India`s Got Talent` on Colours TV.
With Patnaik volunteering to vote for the dance group, a large number of leaders and workers belonging to the ruling BJD also forwarded their SMSs in favour of group.
The youth wing of BJP also organised a procession motivating people to vote for the dance group.
A number of corporate houses including Dhamara Port Company Limited, Tata teel, Gopalpur Port Limited and others also joined the bandwagon persuading people to vote for the group.
The local media, including television chanels and news papers, have also appealed to people to vote for Krishna`s group besides many persons requesting their friends and relatives over phone to support the Prince Dance Group.
