Yuvraj Singh`s father gets bail by Panchkula session court

New Delhi: Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh`s father, Yograj Singh who was arrested on Monday, was granted bail by the Panchkula sessions court.Cops had arrested him at his residence in Haryana earlier in the day. Yograj, a former cricketer, was taken into custody by the police after having an altercation with his neighbours over a car parking issue.

Yograj has been arrested by the police earlier too in many occasions. In 2008, the economic offences wing of Panchkula district police had booked Yograj Singh and five relatives and charged them with cheating and conspiracy in a property matter.

Earlier, in June 2014, Yograj had a tumor removed from his throat after undergoing treatment in the US. The former India fast bowler is said to have groomed Yuvraj Singh, who went on to become one of the most well-known cricketers in the present generation.

Yuvraj is his son from his first marriage.
