New Delhi: Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who has recovered from a non-malignant lung tumour, has said that he would be fit for next month`s tri-series in Australia.
"I have completely recovered and have been training for the last two weeks. There is absolutely no problem with my fitness," the all-rounder told a daily.
"I am able to run hard and my lung capacity is back. The trainers and the support staff at the National Cricket Academy have been working hard on my fitness. In a week, I will be completely ready."
The left-hander’s family revealed in November that he had been battling a non-malignant tumour in his left lung and had opted out of ODI series against the West Indies. He was also not considered for the Test series in Australia for the same reason.
India will play two Twenty20 matches against Australia before the triangular one-day series, also featuring Sri Lanka, starting in February.
