New Delhi: After an excellent IPL 9 season, Royal Challenges Bangalore spinner Yuzvendra Chahal made an impactful debut in international cricket during the ongoing tour of Zimbabwe.
While playing his maiden ODI, the leg-spinner bowled his full quota of ten overs, in which he conceded 27 runs and scalped a wicket as well.
In the 2nd game, the exciting leggie, bowled his heart out. He spun a web and picked up three wickets in his six overs, which helped India to bundle out Zimbabwe for mere 126.
For his outstanding spell in 2nd ODI, Chahal, 25, was also rewarded with Player of the match.
As India have already sealed the three-match ODI series by winning the first two games, Chahal spoke to BCCI about his debut, skipper MS Dhoni, spin partner Axar Patel and many other topics.
