Roberto Mancini warns players to accept responsibilities or leave

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has warned his under-performing players to start accepting responsibilities or leave the club.

London: Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has warned his under-performing players to start accepting responsibilities or leave the club ahead of their Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Monday.
Mancini has questioned the attitude of some of his players after last season`s title win and singled out France midfielder Samir Nasri and England No.1 Joe Hart. With City 15 points behind Manchester United, Mancini said the attitude of some of his players must improve, or they could be offloaded. The Italian said it was time certain players took responsibility for their poor form and showed they have the character of champions. Mancini added when he was a player he always took responsibility, adding when he didn`t play well, he said: `Sorry I didn`t play well and will do my best in the next game` and it should be like this. Mancini said he doesn`t like players that never think it`s their fault, adding these players can`t play with me because this is impossible. The former Inter Milan boss said he wants strong players that are upset with him when they don`t play but, after that, show him on the pitch that they deserve to play. ANI
