New Delhi: Ivan Lendl, former coach of Andy Murray revealed that his split with the Scot was due to family related issues and the difficulty of matching their Wimbledon win.
The duo ended their partnership after two years in March 2013.
The 54-year-old felt travelling to meet his mother in Prague as well as looking after his young daughter was making it difficult to give the required time for coaching.
Lendl was appointed by Murray after winning his maiden Grand Slam and the gold at 2012 London Olympics in 2012.
After Lendl's exit, the Scot went appointed Amelie Mauresmo as his coach. The Frenchwoman is a former Women's world number one.
