Getting a much-needed momentum early on will be the key with FC Goa and Atletico setting the standards so far this season already. Delhi will be hoping to recreate some magic under marquee player and coach Roberto Carlos has stated that the hosts will play much better against Chennaiyin.
We look at players who could make a major impact in the game for both the teams.
Florent Malouda (Delhi Dynamos): Malouda's experience for France and Chelsea will play an important role for the Dynamos. Malouda impressed with his performance in the first game and the side will hope for a similar approach from him. His pace might have reduced but he still offers some threat in and around the penalty box area. Malouda will hope for some agile link-up play with his teammates to break down the Chennai defence.
Elano Blumer (Chennaiyin FC): Elano has started the season from where he left off last term. After ending up being the highest scorer in ISL 2014, the attacking midfielder has already registered a goal and looked lively in creating chances in his side's 2-3 loss against ATK. His support will be of big help to Fikru upfront and Delhi needs to be wary of the attacking threat. Marco Materazzi and the fans alike have pinned their faith in Elano to create some magic once again on Thursday.
