ISL 2015: FC Goa vs Kerala Blasters - Players to watch out for

New Delhi: FC Goa and Delhi Dynamos FC will be engrossed in an exciting battle in match No. 18 on Thursday in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.

FC Goa lie fourth in the table and a win could see them move atop for the time being. Zico's side won their last encounter and will be raring to go once again to get another victory. Meanwhile, Kerala Blasters FC will be trying to jump-start their campaign after back-to-back defeats at the hands of Atlético de Kolkata and Delhi Dynamos FC.

A much-needed performance is required by Kerala, who lie sixth at the moment and have found the net just once in their last three matches.

We look at players who could make a major impact in the game for both the teams.

Gregory Arnolin (FC Goa): Goa's defence is bolstered by the presence of Gregory Arnolin and he will be keen to put up another commanding display on home soil. Gregory dominates the ball which is good to see and the style will be important for his side. The defender has featured in every minute of Goa’s campaign so far and his passing accuracy alongside attributes of ball retention skills makes him a strong force against Blasters.

Manandeep Singh (Kerala Blasters): Manandeep offers a lot of intensity and energy to Kerala’s forward line. The promising youngster has made just two appearances so far but could be pivotal for Kerala as head coach Taylor hinted at squad rotation. Manandeep will try to create more penetration for Kerala's attacking line and his link-up play upfront will be handy.
