FC Goa meanwhile, come from a daunting loss against Atletico de Kolkata in their previous game. Zico will be a worried manager and will hope his team bounces back on Wednesday against NorthEast who have won three of their last five matches.

The Fatorda stadium will hope to witness an intense 90 minutes of enthralling football given both teams' intention in winning at this crucial juncture. Goa's approach will be different this time and Zico will hope to emerge victorious in the tactical battle to give his side valuable points.

We look at players who could make a major impact in the game for both the teams.

Lucio (FC Goa): The former Brazil and Inter Milan defender, will play a key role for FC Goa at the defensive heart. His experience in this important game will hold key for the Gaurs who need some solidity at the back after the 0-4 thrashing against ATK. Lucio has made 77 clearances and 28 tackles for his side to show his presence in the pitch. He has been pivotal in winning aerial duels.

Nicolas Velez (NorthEast United): The Argentine forward has been a live-wire for NorthEast United. His blistering pace and ability to run in behind defences has seen him score four goals for the Highlanders this season. Velez will hold key for NorthEast against Goa's experienced defence. His battle against Lucio will be an interesting battle to watch out for.
