ISL 2015: League table looks compact as FC Goa stay atop

New Delhi: The Indian Super League 2015 season has seen some enthralling level of football played as the positions on the table looks very tight and compact.

After Goa's 7-0 drubbing of Mumbai City FC on Tuesday, Zico's side look partly favourites to make it to the semi-final round with 18 points from 10 games so far. Rest all the teams are in contention for a place in the last four including Chennaiyin FC who lie bottom with 10 points from nine matches.

The ISL's compactness makes the league very interesting as Wednesday's game will define further mysteries ahead. Atletico de Kolkata take on Chennaiyin FC and the hosts have a good chance of going second for the time being.

Delhi Dynamos who lie third with 15 points have played a lesser game than Pune, Goa and Kolkata. They equal Goa's tally next with 18 points next.

With four matches to go for most teams, every game seems vital for all sides. It will be a test of nerves for all the teams to keep their calm and get past the finish line with very little to separate between them.

NorthEast, Kerala and Mumbai too could find themselves in the fray with the tightness in the table.
