Argentina football league witnessed ghostly apparition, captured on camera

New Delhi: Trickery or not, a ghostly apparition presented itself during a recent Argentine Primera Division clash between table toppers Racing Club and River Plate at the Estadio Presidente Peron in Buenos Aires.

The revelation was captured on camera, which was further helped with broadcaster Futbol Mundial encircling the act. In the footage, a phantom fan runs alongside the pitch before heading back the other way a minute later.

For many football fans across the globe, it was indeed a paranormal sighting. But there's doubt on its true nature, even people laughing off the 'ghost' as a mere streaker wearing grey suit.

Those who were present at the stadium might have missed the apparition but they witnessed an own-goal from the visiting River Plate defender Ramiro Funes Mori, which settled the issue. With two rounds remaining in the season, Racing are leading the table with two points.
