London: Arsenal’s comeback man Thierry Henry had apologised for his outburst on an Arsenal supported form his team’s 3-2 loss to Swansea on Sunday, as reported by ‘The Sun’.
According to the newspaper, Henry was shocked and disappointed by the result and lost his cool when abuses were hurled at him.
Speaking to the newspaper, Henry stated, “"I wanted to tell the fan in question that we need their support not abuse. The sentiment was right but in hindsight could have been better expressed. So I would like to first and foremost apologise for using inappropriate language to that particular `supporter’. I didn`t intend to be malicious or threatening and am aware that it could have been said in a calmer manner”.
The French striker is on a loan two-month loan at the Emirates.
