Kolkata: India captain Bhaichung Bhutia on Monday said the use of vuvuzelas trumpets should be banned

during the ongoing FIFA World Cup finals in South Africa as it creates an ear-shattering experience. "It`s really disappointing to watch the World Cup matches with such irritating noise by vuvuzelas. It should be banned, it is difficult for anyone on the pitch to concentrate. A lot of players also don`t like them," Bhutia told reporters on the sidelines of a promotional event. The `Sikkimese sniper` also voiced his concern on the use the new high bouncing World Cup ball, something that has irked Algeria coach after their 0-1 loss to Slovenia yesterday. Bhutia said even England ace striker Wayne Rooney had struggled to tackle the fast and bouncy ball. "If you see the trend of the matches this time around, very less number of goals have been scored so far... Only Germans have scored a 4-0 win over the Aussies.” "All good teams have struggled with the ball. The problem is it`s very fast. I saw Rooney struggling to get control of the ball at least twice (in their match against US that ended 1-1). Even Argentines struggled (against Nigeria)," Bhutia said.
