Bayern Munich to play against East Bengal for street children

Bayern Munich of Germany will play an exhibition match with Federation Cup winners East Bengal to raise fund for city`s street children on November 17.

Rummennigge in the letter to TLFI founder R P Banerjee said, "During my visit two years ago I experienced the way those kids are living, something people in my country cannot really imagine."
For erstwhile German greats like Gerd Mueller, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Lothar Matthaeus, Giovane Elber, who are expected to be a part of the Bayern squad, this would be the first match on Indian soil.Rummennigge in the letter to TLFI founder R P Banerjee said, "During my visit two years ago I experienced the way those kids are living, something people in my country cannot really imagine." East Bengal`s president Pranob Dasgupta, secretary Kalyan Majumder along with coach Trevor James Morgan and former international Surojit Sengupta promised the TLFI to share their best for benefit of street children.
