Indian footballers have another reason to smile as with a vision to focus on youth, Bengaluru FC has sent Udanta Singh on a developmental training stint with English League Two side, Oxford United FC.

New Delhi: Indian footballers have another reason to smile as with a vision to focus on youth, Bengaluru FC has sent Udanta Singh on a developmental training stint with English League Two side, Oxford United FC.

The 19-year-old will be under the watchful eye of manager Michael Appleton for a little over a week now.

Bengaluru FC thinktank hope Udanta will utilise most of his time there and come back as a better player.

Both coach Ashley Westwood and club CEO Parth Jindal have thanked Oxford United for accepting their proposal of having Udanta getting trained under manager Michael Appleton.
