Rio de Janeiro: Brazilian midfielder Jadson is reportedly on the verge of signing with Italian Serie A outfit Udinese.
Rio de Janeiro club Botafogo has agreed in principle to sell the 19-year-old for 2.5 million euros.
Despite the imminent deal, Jadson is not expected to join Udinese until the European summer transfer window.
Jadson is a product of Botafogo`s youth academy system and was a member of Brazil`s squad at the South American under-20 championships in Argentina in January.
The negotiations follow Botafogo`s sale of left-back Marcio Azevedo to Ukrainian outfit Metalist for a reported three million euros.
