Athens: New Greece coach Claudio Ranieri on Sunday made his third change from the original 24-man squad for the first Euro 2016 qualifier against Romania at home on September 7.

The 62-year-old Italian -- who replaced Fernando Santos after he quit following the World Cup finals where he took them to the second round for the first time in their history -- called up 23-year-old AEK midfielder Petros Mantalos for the first time replacing injured Giannis Maniatis of Olympiakos.

Earlier Ranieri called up PAOK defender Giorgos Tzavellas to replace the injured Nikos Karabelas of Levante while injured Olympiakos midfielder Dimitris Siovas was cut from the team as he was considered unfit to play in the match.
