New Delhi: The many shades of Cristiano Ronaldo continue to reveal. After scoring tons of goals, the Portuguese superstar is reportedly ready to don filmy role in Martin Scorsese's upcoming film, The Manipulator.
According to a report in Marca, the Real Madrid frontman will get his acts film by the famed director. The movie is based on the life and times of Alessandro Proto, the Italian millionaire who supposedly inspired the character of Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" novels by British author Erika Mitchell.
It's rumoured that the FIFA World Player of the Year got this celluloid opportunity after his recently acquired USD 18.5 million apartment in the lavish Trump Tower building in New York was finalised as a location of the movie by the celebrated American director. The property was previously belonged to Mr Proto.
The movie, which is expected to be released in 2016, will help Ronaldo follow the paths taken by legends like Eric Cantona, Frank Leboeuf, Vinnie Jones, David Beckham, etc.
Earlier this year, the former Manchester United player tweeted about an upcoming documentary detailing his career. The yet to be named docu-feature is expected to be released in the later part of 2015.

Ronaldo is no stranger to filming. He had previously featured in many commercials. If we can take cue from his prolific scoring form, Ronaldo is sure to make many heads turn in this new role.
