New Delhi: Portugal and Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday won the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award.
Ronaldo, 31, beat team-mate Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann to pick his second continental best player award in Monaco today.
The former Manchester United player helped Madrid win Champions League title and celebrated the Euro 2016 triumph with his Portuguese national team. He had previously won the award in 2014.
The award is voted for by journalists from each of UEFA`s 55 member associations.
