London: After a pathetic show in the ongoing EPL season, Manchester United manager David Moyes is likely to be sacked from his post, according to the media reports.

If reports are to be believed, the Scot wouldn`t be present in the dugout, when United play Norwich City at Old Trafford on Saturday.

After the 2-0 loss on Sunday from the hands of Everton, speculations about Moyes` future intensified.

Moyes succeeded Alex Ferguson last season – who is one of the most successful managers in the history of British football.

This season, teams like West Bromwich Albion, Everton, Newcastle, Swansea and Stoke have inflicted historic defeats to the Red Devils.

Starting the season as defending champions, Manchester United, under David Moyes tasted their first defeat as early as the third game of the season, to their fierce rivals Liverpool on September 01. Twenty one days later, other Manchester club – City thrashed them 4-1.

More so, with four games left and a possible 12 points to earn, Manchester United can accumulate only a maximum of 69 points. It will be their lowest points tally since the inception of Premier League.
