David Silva says is staying at Man City despite Real Madrid interest

London: Manchester City player David Silva has denied speculation that he could quit the club for Real Madrid next summer.

According to Metro.co.uk, the Spanish international is believed to be a top target of Carlo Ancelotti, despite the club`s world record signing of Gareth Bale just a few weeks ago.

Silva only signed a new five-year contract with the Citizens last September and the midfielder, who joined City in 2010 from Valencia , says he is perfectly happy in the Premier League and has had no thoughts of leaving the Etihad Stadium.

The 27-year-old said that he prefers not to say anything on the subject, as he is very happy in Manchester, adding that this was similar to what happens every year.
