London: Happy with Chelsea’s Champions League exploits against Napoli on Wednesday, Didier Drogba has expressed his desire to stick with the club for “as long as possible”.
"Many have said that it was my last game, but the adventure continues. It has been a long time since I have seen a Chelsea like this.”
"I am not master of my fate, but I will stay as long as possible. I am happy here, to experience moments like these against Napoli. I hope there will be many others," he was quoted as saying by The Sun.
The Ivorian opened the scoring for Chelsea finding the net with a header in the 28th minute as they defeated Napoli 4-1 to advance to the quarter-finals with a 5-4 aggregate victory.
The striker has been linked with a move to a Chinese Club with a promise of a hefty paycheck.
