Kolkata: East Bengal will have a golden opportunity to get on level with leaders Dempo when they take on a depleted United Sports Club in their return-leg I-League round 18 fixture at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan.

United SC look heavily disorganised ahead of the crucial match with their key striker Yusif Yakubu yet to return from Ghana, while Brazilian forward Joshimar da Silva Martins is ruled out because of an injury, making East Bengal strong favourites.

Their another striker Kayne Vincent too is suffering from a niggle, while Bello Rasaq has injury problem though the duo may start tomorrow.

In such a scenario, United coach Sanjoy Sen would heavily depend on Vincent and Shankar Oraon.

But East Bengal have no such concern and would go for their usual 4-5-1 formation with Tolgay Ozbey leading up front.

But East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan is not taking their rivals lightly.

"If you look at the table almost every team are capable of springing a surprise. So it`s not about inconsistency but a very competitive league.”

"Pune FC who are on a good run and have not lost a match since last few rounds. The other day HAL scored a two goal victory over Chirag Kerala and Sporting Clube have put together a good string of results," Morgan said.
