Kolkata: A confident East Bengal would look to virtually seal the title when they face bitter foes Mohun Bagan in the Calcutta Football League Premier Division on Saturday, the season`s second derby.
With an all-win record from six matches, East Bengal stay firmly in the lead with 18 points, while Bagan lie in the second spot with a six-point difference, that gives the former a big boost ahead of the season`s second big match.
The fact that they went down 0-1 in their first meeting this season -- in the I-League -- may not matter as East Bengal will look to seal the crown.
East Bengal have doubtful starters in Naoba Singh and Robin Singh but with Mehtab Hussain fully fit and the foreigner duo of Tolgay Ozbey and Orji Penn in fine form, their attacking line-up looks settled.
"We are in a relaxed mood. The boys are aware of our strong position. We can afford to be in a relaxed mood. The result would not matter much but we are confident of a win tomorrow," East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan said.
Mohun Bagan have injury woes in inspirational Jose Barreto, who could not travel to Pune for their last I-League match against Pune FC which they lost 1-2.
The Brazilian, however, said he wants to play tomorrow`s crucial match.
