East Bengal to play exhibition matches against TFA

Jamshedpur: I-league runners-up East Bengal will play two exhibition matches against premier football academy `Tata Football Academy` (TFA) here.

While the first match will be played on August 26, the second match will be played on the 28th, said M G Singh, member of TFA board of directors. The exhibition was part of the National Sports Day to be observed on August 29 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hockey legend Dhyanchand. Besides, East Bengal team will be fine tuning itself ahead of the forthcoming I-league season, he said. The visitors will field two teams for each match while TFA is likely to play with some replacement in the second tie. PTI
