Chinese Super League is becoming a familiar destination for players in the twilight of their careers along with USA and Turkey. Ramires' move comes as a good deal for the London club given the money they received.
Jiangsu finished ninth in China's top tier in 2015.
Ramires has had a trophy-laden career at Chelsea and helped the Blues win the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League.
In total he made 251 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 34 goals, after joining from Benfica for about GBP17m in 2010.
