Arsenal beat Chelsea 3-0 on Saturday to mark Arsene Wenger`s 20th anniversary as Gunners boss.

All in all, another goal fest Saturday. 24 goals in 8 games. Massive wins for Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and leaders City.

With the win, Arsenal have moved to third place in the league table, one point behind Tottenham and five  behind Manchester City. Good win for the Gunners, brilliant display on Wenger's anniversary. For the record, it's Arsenal's biggest win over Chelsea since 1997.

For Chelsea, after back-to-back league defeats, they now occupy eighth place.

SECOND-HALF: Arsenal (Sanchez 11'; Walcott 14'; Ozil 40') 3 - 0 Chelsea

90+3' - Olivier Giroud found himself tangled between two Chelsea defenders as Arsenal created yet another move in the last seconds. Than the long whistle.

90+2' - Sensing their first win over Chelsea in more than five years, Olivier Giroud went for a fourth goal off a tricky high ball. And collided with Thibaut Courtois​.

90' - Three minutes added. Free kick to Arsenal for a foul on Mesut Ozil by Cesar Azpilicueta.

Theo Walcott found Kieran Gibbs inside the Chelsea box, but failed to capitalise.

88' - Arsenal wrested back the possession after a flurry of Chelsea attacks. A cross from the left, and Marcos Alonso took no chance, and kick the ball of play.

86' - After good move, Pedro wasted with a skier. Moments ago, Olivier Giroud got his chance, only to squander with mistimed kick.

83' - Petr Cech was forced to save a weak long ranger from Cesar Azpilicueta.

In the following play, as expected Diego Costa got himself booked for unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Then, on a counter for Chelsea, Michy Batshuayi was thwarted by an onrushing Petr Cech.

81' - On the other end, Michy Batshuayi tried to keep the ball in play, but he failed. And moments ago, Diego Costa tried a header, only to miss the target.

79' - And the final SUB today. Alexis Sanchez walked off to a rousing send off from the home fans. And arrived in his stead, Olivier Giroud.

77' - Another Arsenal move, and Kieran Gibbs set up Granit Xhaka to go for a long ranger, at the goal. But it sailed, and sailed... to the moon, and the Swiss star came back to earth. He had scored a couple of screamers, and the crowed knowingly celebrated this failed attempt.

75' - Mesut Ozil caught offside, fractionally, to a Alexis Sanchez through ball.

74' - Kieran Gibbs, who just arrived, won back the ball for Cesar Azpilicueta, and Arsenal got a good chance, but wasted like before.

Then, another sub, for Chelsea, Pedro broke into a counter but the Hector 'Flash' Bellerin chased down and cut short the move.

On the opposite end, Theo Walcott found himself alone thanks to a long ball. And he got himself to blame, failing to control the ball.

71' - Double change for Chelsea. Pedro on for Willian, Michy Batshuayi on for Eden Hazard.

70' - A good move from Arsenal, ended with a miss pass from Alexis Sanchez. Then, Diego Costa found himself once again with two defenders, and he's furious.

On the counter, Theo Walcott attempted.. and forced a good save from the goalie for a corner.

Meanwhile, change for Arsenal. Kieran Gibbs on for Alex Iwobi.

67' - Hector Ballerin picked a pass from Eden Hazard and the Spaniard launched himself into a dash, but Willian came in his way. Blocked.

Chelsea then started a move. Good one, involving Willian, Hazard and Diego Costa. Branislav Ivanovic got the ball in a shooting position, and he did... only to see the ball sailing over the bar.

64' - It could have been the decisive blow. Gary Cahill was forced kick the ball out of play after  Theo Walcott attacked a loose ball, just in front of the goal.

62' - Diego Costa, subdued in the second half, tried a header from a cross from Willian. But to Chelsea's dismay, the effort was pretty lame. Chelsea however kept the pressure on, winning a free-kick on the left edge of the box.

Then, a low delivery from Willian was cleared away.

60' - Arsenal showboating continued, even in defence. Then, the pacesetter Alexi Sanchez made it a clean run for the home side, but a poor finish from Theo Walcott forced the crowd to bemoan.

57' - Arsenal missed another chance to increase the lead. With as many as five players — three inside the box, two loitering at the edge – could have put that in. But instead, the attempt deflected from a defender.

55' - Chelsea have a good, probing run. But it ended with a goal-kick. In between first sub for the Blues. Marcos Alonso on for Cesc Fabregas.

52' - Alexis Sanchez produced a blistering run from the centre, and released the ball for Mesut Ozil, but the German was caught offside.

Then, Arsenal got themselves a clear chance with Theo Walcott covering some ground, before sending high cross for Sanchez. But the former Barca player failed to reach the flight to head.

49' - Alex Iwobi, in a tight spot, caught offside. Could have done better.

47' - Good start from the Blues, keeping the ball in possession for some time. But a long ball from Thibaut Courtois spelled the end of it.

Slick football from Arsenal have paid good dividends, at least until now. And after three and a half years without a league goal against Chelsea, they now scored three in 45 minutes. Certainly Gunners are living their dreams again. Too premature a verdict, though!

FIRST-HALF: Arsenal (Sanchez 11'; Walcott 14'; Ozil 40') 3 - 0 Chelsea

45+1' - Cesc Fabregas's free-kick drew Petr Cech out and the goalie punched away the ball, but only to find Eden Hazard. The Belgian's attack found the side netting.

45' - Two minutes added. And Theo Walcott committed a foul to Eden Hazard, free kick on the edge of Arsenal box.

44' - In between David Luiz, who was hunting for a victim, connected the tackle to Alexis Sanchez, and was summoned by the referee.

41' - Laurent Koscielny had a brilliant block to deny Diego Costa a shot from close range. The move was a result of a bulldoze run from Willian.

Then, after a few exchanges, Mesut Ozil scored the third goal with a volley of highest class. The move itself was started by the German with a feign, using his body to win back the ball from N'Golo Kante inside the Arsenal half. He released it for Alexis Sanchez, who once reached the box, minus to his partner for a clean shot. Selfless.

37' - Hector Ballerin had a decent run to keep the ball in play, allowing Arsenal create another move, but they lost the ball. Goal kick to Chelsea.

Long ball from Thibaut Courtois, and Chelsea had a good spell of possession.

35' - Brilliant control by Alexis Sanchez to keep the ball in play on the right flank, but his minus towards the centre resulted in a Chelsea move. Diego Costa raised his hands after losing the ball, and complained even as the crowd booed.

32' - Sympathetic applause from the packed Emirates crowd as Francis Coquelin walked off the pitch. Injured. Granit Xhaka on.

30' - Right on the edge of the box, and Branislav Ivanovic booked for bringing down Alex Iwobi.

Arsenal were on a quick counter against a brilliant Chelsea move, in which Francis Coquelin seemed to have injured himself while blocking a shot. And he's off the field.

Alexis Sanchez's attempt from the set-piece was blocked away for a corner by Thibaut Courtois.

25' - Chelsea, from a Diego Costa move, got another good chance. The Spaniard released the ball for a waiting Eden Hazard inside the boz, then the Belgian linked up with an onrushing Willian.

But Hazard's final attempt on the goal was blocked, then Arsenal ran away with their counter. A Gary Cahill was once again forced to defend. Corner to Arsenal.

22' - Alexis Sanchez was summoned to the mopping up on the right flank and he outmaneuvered Branislav Ivanovic, winning back the ball.

21' - Foul from Laurent Koscielny to trip Diego Costa at the centre, and the Chelsea forward asked for a yellow card, claiming it's the second time.

Then, Chelsea produced their best chance of the match with Eden Hazard and Willian toying with Arsenal defender.

But the Brazilian failed to control his shot and it failed to hit the target.

19' - Arsenal are ruling the midfield with their constant move. A prolonged possession, keeping the ball inside the Chelsea half, even as a concerned Antonio Conte strolled the touchline.

The move ended with Alexis Sanchez firing a left footed shot towards the far corner. But missed the target.

15' - Sumptuous goal. Brilliant team work to tear Chelsea apart. Theo Walcott was the last player to touch the ball inside the box, and he slotted home for the second. Credit to Hector Bellerin for that perfect pass.

12' - GOAL!! Chelsea got a good move inside the Arsenal half, but a horrible mistake from Gary Cahill allowed Alexis Sanchez to win back the ball, and produced an exquisite finish to score the opener. Brilliant commitment from Sanchez to chase down the Chelsea back.

10' - David Luiz cleared an Arsenal move on the right flank, then from the following play, Alexi Sanchez got himself in a good position to go for the goal, and earned corner.

Then, Cesc Fabregas was called by the referee for some talk, regarding his sliding tackle.

8' - Santi Cazorla was chased down by Diego Costa, but the Gunners midfielder just did enough to find a link up with Mesut Ozil in the centre and avert danger.

6' - Arsenal defended the set piece play, then launched their own attack with Mesut Ozil running free, for some time, on the left flank. And throw in.

4' - And the first attempt on the goal from Arsenal, forcing a brilliant save from Thibaut Courtois. Then, on the counter, Diego Costa was fouled by Laurent Koscielny just outside the box.

2' - Both the clubs in their traditional colours, Arsenal in red and white while Chelsea in Blues. Early attack from the left for Gunners, and first corner to the home side.

Players are out, and it will be yet another landmark day for Arsene Wenger, celebrating 20 years as Gunners manager.

But this fixture is fraught with tensions and clashes. And with Diego Costa turning up once again for the Stamford Bridge side, there will still be some bad blood.

And even though, Jose Mourinho has moved on, Chelsea still is one of Wenger's least favourite clubs. And there is a certain Cesc Fabregas, who was groomed here as a teenager, now coming with the Blues.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City continue their winning streak into the season with yet another clinical display against Swansea.

The Citizens now lead the table with 18 points, but Tottenham have overtaken Everton to second place with a win over Middlebrough. Everton suffered their first defeat of the season, losing to Bournemouth.

Crystal Palace came from behind to snatch a win from Sunderland, Liverpool thrashed 10-man Hull City 5-1 at Anfield, and Stoke held West Brom 1-1.

Sunderland (Defoe 39', 60') 2 - 3 (61' Ledley; 76' McArthur; 90+4' Benteke) Crystal Palace: The visitors shocked Sunderland with an injury time goal from Christian Benteke.

Stoke City (Allen 73') 1 - 1 (90+1' Rondon) West Brom: What a time to score. Jose Rondon jumped on to Jonathan Leko corner to produce a bullet header for the equaliser, in the injury time.

Sunderland (Defoe 39', 60') 2 - 2 (61' Ledley; 76' McArthur) Crystal Palace: James McArthur scored a vital goal to help the visitors level with Sunderland at Stadium of Light.

Stoke City (Allen 73') 1 - 0 West Brom: Joe Allen finally finally broke the deadlock at Stoke, with a lucky, deflected goal.

Liverpool (Lallana 18'; Milner (P) 30', (P) 71'; Mane 36'; Coutinho 52') 5 - 1 (52' Meyler) Hull City: Another penalty and another goal for Liverpool at home. James Milner got his second.

Swansea (Llorente 13') 1 - 2 (9', 66' (P) Aguero) Manchester City: Penalty. Soft one after Mike van der Hoorn raised his hands on Kevin de Bruyne inside the box. Yellow card. And Sergio Aguero converted from the spot.

Middlesbrough (66') 1 - 2 (7', 23' Hueng-Min) Tottenham: Middlesbrough got one back with Benjamin Gibson finishing a cool move.

Sunderland (Defoe 39', 60') 2 - 1 (61' Ledley) Crystal Palace: Jermain Defoe doubled the lead, but within a minute Joe Ledley reduced it to one.

Liverpool (Lallana 18'; Milner (P) 30'; Mane 36'; Coutinho 52') 4 - 0 Hull City: Liverpool continued from the where they left in the first half, and scored the fourth goal through Philippe Coutinho.

Sunderland (Defoe 39') 1 - 0 Crystal Palace: The ever green Jermain Defoe scored for the Black Cats.

Liverpool (Lallana 18'; Milner (P) 30'; Mane 36') 3 - 0 Hull City: Sadio Mane scored from close range tp give the Reds third goal.

Liverpool (Lallana 18'; Milner (P) 30') 2 - 0 Hull City: Straight red for Ahmed Elmohamady from referee Andre Marriner, and penalty to Liverpool. James Milner converted from the spot.

Bournemouth (Stanislas 23') 1 - 0 Everton: Junior Stanislas produced a cool finish to lead Everton at home.

Middlesbrough 0 - 2 (7', 23' Hueng-Min) Tottenham: Heung-Min Son has doubled the lead for Spurs. Victor Valdes beaten twice.

Liverpool (Lallana 18') 1 - 0 Hull City: Adam Lallana  scored from a Philippe Coutinho play to give Liverpool lead at Anfield.

Swansea (Llorente 13') 1 - 1 (9' Aguero) Manchester City: Within four minutes, Swans responded with a brilliant finish from Fernando Llorente.

Swansea 0 - 1 (9' Aguero) Manchester City: Pretty inevitable. And Sergio Aguero has scored his tenth goal of the season. Easy as it comes.

Middlesbrough 0 - 1 (7' Hueng-Min) Tottenham: Early goal for Spurs as South Korean Heung-Min Son slotted home from the edge of the corner.

With the win, United have temporarily moved to third place in the points table with 12 points.

SECOND-HALF

Manchester United (Smalling 22'; Mata 37'; Rashford 40'; Pogba 42') 4 - 1 (59' Gray) Leicester City

90+3'- United in possession, in the centre, then suddenly rerleased a ball for valencia and he is caught offside. FINAL WHISTLE.

90+2'- United still rolling the ball around, looking for an opening. And earned a free-kick inside Leicester half.

90'- Three minutes added. And Rooney is offside.

89'- Easy for United. waiting for yet another opening, but happy tow wait. Pogba had a rare miss while trying to find a team-mate, he kick out out the ball out of play. From the following play, Leicester earned a free-kick inside their own half.

87'- Third sub for United, Ashley Young on for Juan Mata.

86'- Still United's play, using the acres of space available on either side. Ibrahimovic, who got the ball in front of the box, kick straight to a defender.

From the rebound, United managed to launched another attack, only to see Leicester winning back possession.

84'- Rooney's first touch almost converted into a goal, an opportunistic volley from a cross went straight to Zieler.

83'- Second sub for United. Wayne Rooney on for Marcus Rashford. After making pre-match headlines, Rooney got the chance to play.

82'- With less than 10 minutes into the regulation full time, Leicester won a corner. Good man marking from Blind for United. Then another corner for Leicester, but this time, a poor one, and Blind from the first line of defence cleared away.

Then, Leicester continuing their pressure, managed to test United defence with a teasing cross from the right.

78'- First sub for United. Michael Carrick on for Jesse Lingard.

77'- Leicester got their chance on counter with Slimani sending a good lucking curler, which just missed the far upright.

75' - United continued to probe Leicester defence from both the flanks. A cross from Valencia almost found Ibrahimovic in front of Leicester goal. Good chance.

73' - Body push from Ibrahimovic. He's too strong, even to consider for linesman's mercy on one on one tussle.

From the following play, Leicester launched an attack, only to see the change go begging.

Then a yellow card for Danny Simpson for a late tackle on Marcus rashford.

71' - Pogba again, with his vision, found Ibrahimovic, who beat the high off-side trap. And a corner to United. Wasted.

70' - Dangerous play from Leicester defence to involve Zielar in the play from a close play in front of the box. the goalie's high clearance could only find an United player.

68' - Good protection for Herrara to deny Slimani, and de Gea collected the ball. But from the restart, Leicester won back the ball, and King produced a good shot from inside the box. Straith to de Gea.

66' - From a Valencia throw on the left flank inside Uited half found Pogba, who released it for Lingard. The youngster then minus it to Ibrahimovic. But the former PSG striker's attempt just missed the near post.

64' - Free roaming Valencia minus one for Lingard, but the young forward's attempt sailed over the bar.

62' - Third and final sub for Leicester ready. But the play continued. And in between, Leicester continued to push another goal. Throw in on the right  flank.A beautifull cross from Fuchs but it went out of play after touching Smalling.

SUB: Marc Albrighton off, Jeffery Schlupp on for Leicester.

60' - A well directed cross field ball from Mata found Rashford on the left flank, but from the following play, United lost possession, giving Leicester a chance to move ahead.

Then, substitute Demarai Gray struck from the left edge of the box to score his first GOAL.

57' - An animated Claudio Ranieri, on the touchline, trying to motivate his players. But Leicester's play has been less then ordinary today.

Still, their new recruit Slimani is doing all he could.

55' - Sloppy kick for De Gea, and the ball landed inside the United half to give away possession to Leicester, The reigning champion, however, failed to make the most of it.

From the goal-kick, United got another chance.

52' - Pogba, after a one-two with Mata, delivered a good cross for Ibrahimovic, but the tall Swede failed to connect properly.

50' - And the first booking today. Robert Huth tackled Paul Pogba on the right flank, not nice, and booked.

48' - Start of the second half followed the same script from first period. The pace of the game has dropped but it certainly looked probing from United, considering how they scored those four goals in quick succession.

46' - Double change for Leicester. Andy King on for Riyad Mahrez, Demarai Gray on for Jamie Vardy. Drastic change from Claudio Ranieri.

It was Manchester United all over Leicester City with Paul Pogba pulling the strings. United got 66% possession and have had 10 attempts with five hitting the target, of which four found the net.

Leicester had five attempts, with none hitting the target.

Pogba had gone five games without scoring following his world record fee $115 million arrival from Juventus and had to endure criticism, but he proved the difference between the two teams. He also scored first goal for the English giants.

And that's half time at Old Trafford.

FIRST-HALF

Manchester United (Smalling 22'; Mata 37'; Rashford 40'; Pogba 42') 4 - 0 Leicester City

45'- Two minutes added. Moments ago, an infuriated Jamie Vardy asked for a free-kick but the referee denied. Leicester front-man was brought down near united near corner.

44'- Leicester tried a quick response after that fourth goal, but once again, United cut short the move and Valencia found chasing the ball at the opposite end.

42'- GOAL!!! And it's raining goals at Old Trafford. This time, Paul Pogba scored one for himself. A brilliant header from the playmaker, from a brilliant corner.

40'- GOAL!!! United won another corner from a quick counter, then from the following play Marcus Rashford slotted home a tap.

37'- GOAL!!! That's Juan Mata at his best. Silent for majority of the play so far, then the diminutive Spaniard got himself in front of the box, and produced a brilliant long ranger. And it hit.

34'- Good play from Leicester with Mahrez and Slimani leading the attack. But Mahrez's final cross from inside the box was blocked.

And soon, United launched their own attack.

32'- Pogba is certainly dictating the play today. He released a perfectly weighted through ball for Valencia, but the winger's return play was not upto the mark.

30'- A brilliant attempt from outside the box from Pogba. Good job from Leicester goalie to block it out.

29' - Huth almost made a mess of his clearance, scooping his shot. But luckily, the ball out of play after touching a United player. Goal kick.

27'- Then, with one goal up, United suddenly increased the tempo with Pogba in charge. The playmaker once again set up Ibrahimovic just outside the box, but the Sweded great could only produced a skier.

26'- Some counter attack from United. Brilliant long ball from Herrara, to find Ibrahimovic, who released it for Rashford. But the England youngster wasted the chance, latching it too early, too high.

24'- From the quick restart, Leicester won a free-kick inside the United half, then a a flag kick on the far corner. But wasted.

23'- GOAL!!! Blind earned a corner for United. Then, the home team took lead from Blind's corner, headed home by Smalling. Brilliant delivery. Smalling, starting for the first time at Old Trafford this season , and as the captain, scored.

19'- After cutting short a United move, Albrighton, from the centre tried to find Vardy, but it was blocked by an alert Smalling.

16'- Cheaply yielded corner. A typical long ball for Leicester and on the left flank, and corner to the champion.

It was followed by a brilliantly played out corner, then a couple of attempts on the goal. Pogba was summoned to the blocking, in front of the goal, and in the crowd, the play lost it's essence. Finally, Huth had a wild go, missing the target.

14'- Leicester, having sensed a drop in United intensity, pressed ahead with a long ball, then managed to cross from the left flank, but it was cleared away.

12'- Then came Leicester's first corner, but Albrighton's delivery failed to reach it it's intended target. A jumping De Gea collected the ball.

10'- Pogba and Ibrahimovic linked up for a brilliant one-two just outside Leicester box, but the Frenchman's released was little too quick. On the counter, Albrighton managed to beat Smalling. But De Gea was alert. Goal kick to United.

7'- First corner of the match to United, and from the following play Zlatan Ibrahimovic tried a volley, but  his attempt failed to hit the target.

5' - Early movement from United, but Leicester defence managed to thwart every attempt from the home side.

2' - Couple of minutes into the first half, and not clear cut chances from either side.

Team sheets out for Manchester United vs Leicester match, and the big news is Wayne Rooney is not in the starting XI.

Action starts with the early kick-off between Jose Mourinho's Manchester United hosting champions Leicester City at Old Trafford, followed by six simultaneous kick-offs. Day ends with Arsenal hosting Chelsea in a high stake London derby at the Emirates.

Having endured three successive defeats before a scrappy win in the League Cup, United will hope to start the league campaign afresh against the champions, who themselves have got their second win last week.

Focus will also be at Dean Court, where Bournemouth will host yet to be defeated Everton. Ronald Koeman's side haven't lost in their last six games, and it will be a tough ask for the home side which have conceded nine goals so far this season.

Then there is Liverpool hosting Hull city, out of form Stoke City taking on West Brom, Middlesbrough hosting yet another undefeated side Tottenham.

League leaders Manchester City travel to Swansea looking for another comfortable win, and their cause has been boosted by the availability of Sergio Aguero, post three-match ban.

Sunderland, still without a win, will hot high flyers Crystal Palace.

But the day's fixture will be the London derby, with Arsene Wenger celebrating his 20th anniversary as Gunners manager.
