London:Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic is reportedly set to accept a transfer to Inter Milan after holding positive talks with the club over a switch for next season.
Vidic, whose deal at United expires at the end of the current campaign, is free to negotiate a pre-contract move to an overseas club and Inter is looking set to sign the player after Vidic`s agent admitted he is unlikely to pen a new deal with United.
According to Metro.co.uk, Inter sent a delegation to United over the weekend to meet with the centre back, who is the Serie A team`s top transfer target for next season and it is speculated that they are offering the Serb as 100,000 pounds-a-week contract for two years while he will also spearhead the club`s commercial push in Asia .
Vidic is expected to hold further talks with Inter in the next few days as he looks to thrash out the final details, but it is claimed he has already given the green light to join them in time for next season, the report added.
