London: Manchester United is eyeing Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp as their current manager Alex Ferguson`s successor after his retirement, following Dortmund`s victory at the Champions league over Real Madrid.
United is favouring Jurgen Klopp as the next manager to take the club to new heights, immediately as Ferguson steps down. According to a report, while United strongly believes that Klopp is most suited to take the managerial position in the club, Ferguson is not yet prepared to retire and is planning to work on next season targets as well as on recruiting new team players. The report further said that United fears if Klopp has plans to join rival clubs before Ferguson plans on his exit date, even as Ferguson approves of the German as the next manager for United. Putting United`s fears to rest for a short term, Klopp has claimed that he will stay on at Dortmund for the next season. ANI
