New Delhi: Manchester United youth sensation Adnan Januzaj could head out of the club on loan in the upcoming January transfer market. Januzaj who burst into first team football scene for the club last season under former manager David Moyes, has been used scarcely this term by new boss Louis van Gaal.
Januzaj has made only nine Premier League appearances for Van Gaal's side this term and hasn't featured lately since quite some time. With all the attacking force United possess, the chance for Januzaj has decreased to make a permanent place in the team as of now.
Reports suggest that Louis van Gaal is keen to off load the Belgian in order to make him gain vital playing time. Inter Milan and Real Sociedad are interested in signing the 19-year-old on loan. But Van Gaal wants Januzaj to stay in the Premier League and get some game time.
Amongst the EPL clubs, Everton and Hull City are reportedly linked with a move for him in January.
Januzaj who is considered to be one of the best young players in the world, played a major role last term after making 27 League appearances and scoring four goals. Although United finished a disappointing seventh under Moyes, the prospect of giving a chance to Januzaj was a positive sign of the manager.
With the festive period in line United play three matches in a space of seven days and Januzaj will hope he gets some role and impress the manager as Van Gaal will adopt a rotational policy.
The 19-year-old is a bright prospect for the club in upcoming years and even if he heads out on loan, he will try to make the most out of it in order to be a regular feature in the main team from next season onwards.
Man U host Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Boxing Day and will keen to extend its seven matches unbeaten run.
