Crystal Palace and West Brom players celebrate victory under new managers
Crystal Palace got off to a good start under newly appointed manager Alan Pardew, who saw his side come from behind and beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1. The former Newcastle United manager who left the North East London club after receiving flak from fans despite a decent spell, currently feels he is at home at Palace and that showed in his first Premier League victory with 'The Eagles'.

Pardew expressed his delight after the victory and credited the players for an important victory. He also reflected on an afternoon that will stay with him forever.

Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion who got the better of Aston Villa in a 1-0 victory under Tony Pulis started the year perfectly and will look into cash on from here.
They have a manager who has been very good with Stoke City earlier, and also helped Palace survive relegation last season.
Pulis felt he needs to start winning games with West Brom at home regularly and cited they need to improve on all over the pitch. He also stated the supporters need to play an important role too.
