It's the 10 men of Manchester City who are pushing for the winner now. Can they grab a winner at the Etihad?

86'- SUBSTITUTION: Chelsea bring on Didier Drogba for Diego Costa. Mourinho is furious.

James Milner helps the ball across, Lampard makes that trademark late dash into the penalty area and slots home into the corner.

85'- GOAL!!! Can you believe that. It's Frank Lampard! Chelsea's highest scorer comes back and haunts them. Muted celebration!

82'- Jesus Navas clips a ball from left to right, where Silva is waiting behind Matic. He drags a shot past the near post. Over at Goodison Park, it’s now Everton 2-3 Crystal Palace!

81'- Costa hits the post. Fabregas played a reverse pass to him on the edge of the area and although he was under pressure from Milner, he took the ball in his stride and screwed his shot past Hart but against the base of the post.

78'- SUBSTITUTION: City replace Kolarov with Frank Lampard. The visiting supporters applaud their former hero!

77'- Yellow card! Ivanovic is booked for tugging Toure’s shirt.

76'- Costa heads straight at Hart from Schurrle’s free-kick.

Chelsea fan and former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen is happy!

Diego Costa starts the move with a good ball out wide, Eden Hazard looks up and puts it on a plate for substitute Andre Schurrle, and he can't miss. Just a tap in!

71'- GOAL!!!! Andre Schurrle scores. Chelsea go up. Man City 0-1 Chelsea.

70'SUBSTITUTION: Manchester City introduce Bacary Sagna in place of Edin Dzeko.

67'- Surely Chelsea will sense to go on attack now. Meanwhile, Milner going onto the right defense.

66'- zabaletta SENT OFF! Mike Dean has shown a second yellow card to the City right-back! Already on a booking, he tackled Costa from behind, leading to a confrontation between the pair of them. Dean sends the City man off and books Zabaleta.

65'- Chelsea trying to have some possession here.

63'- SUBSTITUTION: Chelsea make a double swoop, Andre Schurrle replacing Ramires, who is down injured anyway, and John Obi Mikel replacing Willian.

59'- Chelsea have a free-kick around 30 yards from goal. Fabregas hits it into the wall. Looks like Schurrle will be on shortly.

56'- Great move from City as Yaya Toure finds Pablo Zabaleta on the right, he play it back in to Sergio Aguero, who is able to find half a yard in the blue wall to steer in a low shot. Thibaut Courtois gets down well to keep it out, and Ramires is in the face of Edin Dzeko to deny him a tap-in.

55'-  City take a short corner on the left. Milner’s cross is shuffled clear but Fernandinho charges on to the loose ball and rasps one just wide from 20 yards.

Meanwhile Crystal palace have gone 2-1 up against Everton.

50'- Dzeko carves Chelsea open with a run down the left and a clever pass inside to Fernandinho. He has Milner and Aguero both available but his pass is useless and the attack gets wasted.

48'- Aguero dashes in from the right and tries to curl one into the far corner, but it goes straight to the keeper.

47'- Now Dzeko wins a corner on the left. It’s City’s 11th of the game and it’s cleared by Chelsea defenders.

46'- The second half begins. And here come City straight away, Kolarov crossing,Terry heading behind for a corner.

Everton, Palace go into half-time with the game tied at 1-1.

Half-time: Manchester City 0-0 Chelsea.

45'+3: Willian meanwhile is receiving treatement for an injury.

45'+2: A corner to City on the right. It’s swung in, misses everyone in the middle, and Willian boots it clear, just before being clumsily taken out by Silva.

Three minutes of added time here!

45'- Hazard drifts away from one challenge, then two, before making a pass from left to right, looking for Ramires. It’s a difficult take on his chest and although his first touch is heavy, the Brazilian manages to win a corner off Managala. The corner is sent high towards the back of the area and Ivanovic nods down into the six-yard box. A unsure clearance from Fernandinho just takes it away from Costa and behind for another corner, which comes to nothing.

43'- Another yellow card. Yaya Toure is booked.

41'- The big players are yet to make an influence. Minutes left for half-time!

40'- Another booking, this time for City's Silva, who brings down Willian to stop a Chelsea counter-attack.

39'- City win a free-kick on the right, Azpilicueta fouls Silva, and Matic promptly kicks the ball away in a show of dissent, earning himself a stupid booking. Yellow card for Matic.

37'- Nothing much happening here. The game has been dominated physically.

Meanwhile reports are coming in that Mario Balotelli has been racially abused following his reaction on Twitter to Man United's slip.

35'- Ramires gets a yellow card for hitting out at Aguero’s legs. Still goalless.

33'- Fabregas’s free-kick from the left is headed on by Cahill and hits a City defender. Chelsea scream for a penalty for handball, but Mike Dean isn’t interested.

32'- Eden Hazard whisks past Edin Dzeko, then Zabaleta, who brings him down just outside the area at the expense of a booking.

31'- Another corner for City. This time they take it short. Silva takes in from the right and chips a cross into the area. Terry heads it clear but only as far as Aguero, whose awkward volley from the left flies high and wide over the post.

Meanwhile Palace have equalised against Everton.

30'- Half an hour gone and it's still goalless.

29'-  A careless pass from Willian gives City a sight of goal. City play a succession of quick passes around the Chelsea defence and worked it out to Kolarov on the left. His cross was only half-cleared to Fernandinho on the edge of the area he hits his shot miles off target. It came to Milner on the right side of the area, though, but his firm cross was collected by Courtois.

26'- After a resounding start, the game has slowed down a bit and Chelsea will be happy.

23'- Now Chelsea settle down with a calm spell with the ball, in City’s half. Both team's defence have been solid.

Chelsea haven't managed a shot on target so far and that shows City's resilient defence.

20'- So 20 minutes gone and it's still goalless here. Chelsea are struggling to get their passing rhythm going, such is the intensity of the City's pressing.

Romelu Lukaku celebrates after scoring against Palace.

17'- The first contest between Kompany and Costa. But it’s Kompany who comes out on top, out-muscling Costa, emerging with the ball and then winning a free-kick to sum it all off.

Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku's goal has seen Everton take the lead against Palace. EVERTON 1-0 CRYSTAL PALACE!

15 minutes have gone by and City have maximum possession.

14'- Another corner for City. Fifth one already inside 15 minutes. Silva takes the corner and it is a poor delivery. Dzeko had won the corner.

13'- Aguero is back on his feet. Manchester City continue to dominate the ball but Chelsea are notoriously difficult to break down.

12'- Aguero is down after an odd collision with John Terry. He was trying to challenge the Chelsea captain and ended up with a dead leg. His left thigh is currently being nursed. He should be okay to continue. Meanwhile Fernandinho has been booked for hacking down Willian.

10'- City have looked the more dangerous team so far. Chelsea not quite upto their best in the midfield.

8'- Milner shows good strength and pace to hold off a strong challenge from Azpilicueta and work a pass inside to Dzeko. The striker turns and sees his effort from 20 yards deflected. Another corner for City as Silva takes it. Yaya Toure heads a shot straight to Chelsea keeper, Courtois.

7'- City are dominating possession at the moment. Kolarov finds space on the left and crosses. Dzeko rises. Dzeko heads wide. This has been a good start from City.

5'- Free-kick to City around 30 yards out, just to the left. Costa is alive to and gives a corner on the edge of the area in the left. Again Chelsea defend it comfortably.

4'- Lively from City here. They will look to keep the ball and be more crisp.

3'- Aguero pops up on the right and forces Cesc Fabregas to concede a corner. Again Chelsea get it clear but City have them penned back at the moment. Zabaleta crosses from the right and Aguero heads a difficult chance over at the far post.

2'- City attacking on the left, Aguero slips away from Cahill and wins a free-kick off the Chelsea defender. It comes to nothing.

1'- The match has started as Manchester City, kicking from left to right, get the ball rolling.

It's a massive clash at the Etihad Stadium today as reigning champs Man City host top of the table placed Chelsea. Jose Mourinho has fueled the fire before the game, claiming that City should have “title and points taken away” for breaching Financial Fair Play rules.

Last season Chelsea beat City home and away in narrow wins and that’s something which will rankle with Manuel Pellegrini and his players. On Sunday the key battle to watch out for will be Chelsea’s striker Diego Costa (7 goals in 4 PL games) versus Man City’s captain and central defender Vincent Kompany.

Elsewhere, it is crucial for Yaya Toure to regain form and come out on top following his lacklustre start to the season which resulted in his inept display at the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munich, on Wednesday. For Chelsea, Cesc Fabregas will hold the key alongside Eden Hazard.

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard could play against his old team as he continues his loan spell at City from New York City FC in Major League Soccer, while Stevan Jovetic and Fernandinho are both expected to miss out for the home side. Chelsea have won four from four to start the season and have won 11 times at City during the EPL era, more than any other team.
