London: Manchester United new boss Louis van Gaal has revealed that he would achieve success at Manchester United, just like he has everywhere else.

Van Gaal has admitted that he must start winning games in order to survive at United, despite having a mandate to rebuild the team. He has yet to win a game this season, picking up a solitary point from his first two Premier League games and suffering a humiliating 4-0 Capital One Cup defeat to League One MK Dons.

Although there is no question of Van Gaal's position being called into question so early in his tenure, the Dutchman acknowledged that he must start producing results quickly, The Mirror reported.

The Dutchman said that one has to survive as a trainer, as a coach, as a manager, and added that one has to survive because, nowadays, the fans are asking for results and the question is can a person receive enough time to do all the steps they have to do.

But, Van Gaal also said that United can still be the champions in England now, in his first year. He said that maybe one might laugh, but also in his former clubs he has started like this, so for him it's not big news or different.

Van Gaal said that one does not have to think that he is playing a role, adding that he is confident, because everywhere he has been before he has showed it. He added that he does not believe it won't work at United.

Van Gaal said that he believes that, at the end of the process, everybody will be happy he was at United.

The Dutchman also said that he would never compare jobs because, when he started with Netherlands national team, no one believed they could qualify for the World Cup, and added that after that, they said the Dutch wouldn't have any chance to get through the first group at the World Cup, and after that, they said his squad would lose against every opponent, but they finished third in the end.

Van Gaal said that one cannot compare his United job to Bayern Munich or Barcelona as they are different cultures. He added that AZ too is different, as they are a minor club, but at the end they were the champions of the Netherlands.
